David A. Pula, MD

After completing his Orthopaedic residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu HI, he practiced for 4 years as a general orthopedic surgeon at Ft Cambell KY. While on active duty he deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. After completing his service he pursued specialty training in sports medicine at University at Buffalo where he worked and trained with Team Physicians for the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres as well as Division I and III collegiate programs. He treats all orthopaedic disease with a special interest in ACL tears, rotator cuff tears, shoulder dislocation and labral tears.
Throughout his career as an orthopedic surgeon he has treated many sports related injuries as well as general orthopedic problems. His approach includes operative and non-operative modalities tailored to each persons needs. He encourages patient input in the process and believes it improves the overall experience and outcome.
